Saecula Choir Foundation is committed to making world-class music education accessible to students of diverse cultural, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds. The Foundation has a particular interest in empowering gifted young female singers, and has established the Sisters In Song Scholarship Fund to provide financial support for girls and young women who would otherwise be unable to afford high-quality musical training. Scholarships are available to help students and their families with tuition fees, uniforms, transportation costs, and other expenses directly related to participation in community-based choral ensembles, summer camps, concert tours, and professional development courses.
We believe that nobody should be denied the opportunity to sing due to financial circumstances. Through outreach initiatives at local schools and strategic partnerships with programs such as United Choir School, we work to identify low-income and at-risk individuals who are exceptionally talented, and for whom a scholarship could be profoundly life-changing.
If you know of any potential scholarship recipients, please encourage them to contact us for an application form. Applications are typically reviewed by the SCF Board in August for fall semester programs and in December for spring semester programs. Applications for summer camp, professional development, and tour scholarships are considered on a rolling basis.
