Saecula Choir Foundation (SCF) provides life-changing educational programs, performance opportunities, and scholarships for musicians of all ages. The Foundation sponsors a unique intergenerational Choral Institute as well as several performing ensembles, including the Saecula Women’s Choir, Earthly Sound, and VocalJoy. SCF also underwrites music education scholarships for students who would otherwise be unable to afford high quality musical training.

As a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization, the Foundation relies heavily on financial contributions from individuals in the community. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to help the Foundation fulfill its mission of Transforming Lives Through Choral Music!

United Choir School 25th Anniversary Alumnae Reunion Weekend

United Choir School’s 25th anniversary season will culminate in two spectacular concerts on the weekend of June 23-24, 2018.

The UCS Alumnae Reunion Extravaganza Concert will take place on the afternoon of Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Yale’s magnificent Woolsey Hall! It will be an unforgettable day of sisterhood and song as current UCS choristers and alumnae of the United Girls’ Choir and Elm City Girls’ Choir gather in New Haven to reunite, catch up with old friends, and reminisce about cherished choir memories! Repertoire will include classic UCS songs that are familiar to everyone as well as a few brand new arrangements and some other exciting surprises! We’ll also be inviting parents, grandparents, siblings, and even friends to join in singing a few selections as guests of the Saecula Community Gospel Choir, a non-auditioned ensemble open to singers of all ages and experience levels.

The Elm City Girls’ Choir Alumnae Reunion Jamboree will be a smaller and less formal event featuring primarily alumnae and choristers of ECGC on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Bridgeport. The program will include some of ECGC’s “Greatest Hits” from 1993-2018 with spontaneous requests from both performers and audience members, and a rollicking sing-a-long of everybody’s favorite songs from recent years as well as the “good old days”! Members of the Saecula Women’s Choir will join forces with current ECGC choristers and ECGC alumnae of all generations in this nostalgic performance. Choristers and Alumnae of UGC who are in attendance will also be invited to join in singing a few selections at the end of the program.
