Saecula Community Gospel Choir (SCGC) is a non-auditioned ensemble dedicated to the performance of inclusive and uplifting gospel songs. The group welcomes people of all ages, genders, sexualities, physical and mental abilities and disabilities, ethnicities, nationalities, religious and spiritual backgrounds, political affiliations, ideologies, etc.. SCGC made its debut in March, 2017 at a concert entitled “Singing Together For Peace” at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Bridgeport, and will join forces with other choirs from around the region for a similar program at Yale University’s Woolsey Hall on May 12, 2018. The group is frequently led by guest clinician, Michael Brown.
