Earthly Sound is a professional mixed-voice chamber choir specializing in music about nature. The group’s repertoire includes Renaissance polyphony, spirituals, contemporary works, vocal jazz, and folk songs from around the world. Founded in 2010, the ensemble has appeared at numerous venues throughout Connecticut, including Christ Church in New Haven, Church of the Assumption in Ansonia, First Congregational Church in Glastonbury, Walker Hall at the Taft School in Watertown, and Yale University’s Morse Recital Hall. Earthly Sound is committed to supporting environmental charities and has performed several benefit concerts for the Connecticut Audubon Society.
