Bridget Nixon, Program Manager

11951218_10205335724247695_4059089103071462355_nBridget Nixon began her musical training in the Elm City Girls’ Choir at the age of eight and sang with the choir for ten years. She received her BA with honors in Music Theory, History, and Composition from Brown University, where she served as a student conductor for the University Chorus and as music director of the Ursa Minors, an all-female a cappella group. Bridget currently serves as Education Coordinator for the United Girls’ Choir and Elm City Girls’ Choir, working to innovate and implement new Ear Training programs for all choristers. She is also a section leader for the Parish Choir at Christ & Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Westport, CT. Bridget enthusiastically supports the Foundation’s commitment to provide high quality musical training to musicians of all ages and backgrounds.
