Members of the Saecula Women’s Choir and United Choir School participate in a leadership summit hosted by the Saecula Choir Institute at the 2016 CT American Choral Directors Association Fall Conference at Manchester High School on Saturday, October 29, 2016. Participants have the opportunity to meet other musicians from throughout the state of Connecticut, attend various workshops and masterclasses, observe honor choir rehearsals, and hear performances by many outstanding ensembles, including the UConn Chamber Singers and the renowned gospel choir of Abyssinian Baptist Church in New York City. Participants also have the opportunity to meet in small groups throughout the day to discuss their thoughts, ideas, and questions with each other.
