Saecula Choir Institute hosts a day-long choral immersion program on Saturday, November 5, 2016 in Storrs, CT, which includes a number of exciting activities. Participants take part in helping to lead a workshop sponsored by the Northeastern CT chapter of the American Guild of Organists on “Building Choral Sound and Developing Musicianship Skills”. A peer-led rehearsal and discussion of madrigals composed during the Renaissance period follows the workshop. Participants also attend the voice and conducting recital of Rachel Feldman, a senior at the University of Connecticut and a conducting fellow of the Saecula Choir Institute, at Storrs Congregational Church.
