Saecula Choir Institute hosts a conducting and leadership workshop for young conductors on Saturday, September 24, 2016, at First Presbyterian Church in New Haven, CT. Participants include members of Saecula Women’s Choir and the Camerata division of the Elm City Girls’ Choir, the most advanced division of United Choir School. The primary aims of this workshop are to help the choristers gain some insight into techniques that increase the confidence, musicianship, and sense of community in any choral ensemble, and to explore the intergenerational approach to conducting and leadership employed as a part of Saecula and United Choir School.
