Members of Saecula Women’s Choir and Elm City Girls’ Choir participate in a concert honoring the distinguished career of June Hale and celebrating her retirement from her positions at United Choir School and St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Cheshire, CT. A massed choir of June’s friends, colleagues, and former students, which include many members of SWC, ECGC, and ECGC alumnae, make a special guest appearance. June is honored with an award in her name, the June Hale Award for Excellence in Music Education, during the concert, for all she has done to inspire many generations of musicians!
